Hello and happy May 1st! And has it been a busy one!! Phew! Just a quick post today to share an alternate card using the April Paper Pumpkin kit. That kit is sooooooo beautiful! We had our Paper Pumpkin party last night and everyone enjoyed it!

I had so much fun with these ladies!! It was a hoot! Here are the two alternate cards we created with our kits:

The stamp set in this set is just stunning! It is one of our new Distinktive Style Stamps. If you’re not familiar with those, SU! has created a way for the stamp to be able to stamp the image in one color, but gives the stamped image some real depth to it. They are just gorgeous! I have to say, Paper Pumpkin has come a long way since those first few kits 6 years ago!

For my additional alternate project today I used Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape and Granny Apple Green inks. LOVE that color combination almost as much as Night of Navy and any yellow! And of course with that color combination I could use our Glitter Enamel Dots! Score!!! By using just a few additional supplies with your kit, you can make it go a really long way!

And here is the inside:

Just stamps, ink and paper! Oh, and a little bling!! lol Don’t you love a simple card? This doesn’t look simple, but it really is!

Did you know that the May kit was designed by our very own Shelli Gardner? Yep, the co-founder of Stampin’ Up! got her turn at creating a kit….and…it will coordinate with some product coming in the 2019/2020 Annual Catalog that goes live in June! Now that’s the way to extend your kit!!! If you’re not familiar with Paper Pumpkin, it is Stampin’ Up!’s monthly crafting kit. It is $19.95/month plus tax and you get everything you need (except for some basic crafting supplies like your normal adhesive, scissors etc.) to complete the kit. Some months it’s cards, some months it’s 3-d items, and we have even had home decor. It’s just really crafty fun happy mail! If you would like to subscribe, just go here. There’s no obligation, if you don’t like it you can cancel your subscription; but I bet you don’t! It’s just getting better and better!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great evening!
