Hello and happy Wednesday! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time visiting my neck of the woods, welcome and please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. I am so glad I finally get to share my CASE-ing Tuesday project with you. In case you haven’t seen what we are casing (copy and share everything), here’s a look at the sample and the sketch.

Case-ing Tuesday Portrait Templates – 285
Isn’t that a cute card? I love the color palette of the sample too. Since summer is just about over, I decided to create another fall card.

I finally opened my pack of Glow of Harvest Specialty DSP that was last month’s Product of the Month. I’m shocked that it’s actually still available! It is absolutely stunning! To make it simple, I chose all of the elements on my card after choosing my piece of DSP and then trimmed them to the measurements on the sketch. You’ve got to love sketches! It really helps make creating so much easier! I chose Early Espresso for my card base, Basic Beige and Golden Glow for my strips. I attached all of the layers with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive and then added them to the card front with more Seal. I chose the Thanks & Giving stamp set from the Online Exclusives and stamped my sentiment in Early Espresso ink. I then sprinkled on a couple of the 26/28 In Color Dots for my bling.

For the inside, I had a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White and stamped my sentiment in Early Espresso ink. I stamped the acorn in Crumb Cake ink first on my envelope and then on the inside layer to get a second generation image.

Isn’t that big ol’ acorn cute?!? lol Now it’s your turn! Create your take on this week’s sample or sketch and share it with us over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. We would love to see your creation!
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope I was able to inspire you. Hard to believe that fall is two weeks away, isn’t it? I don’t know about you, but I’m ready! I hope you have a great rest of your week and if you get a chance to get inky, even better!
