Welcome to another Fabulous Friday! Today’s project concludes my Product of the Week, our Stampin’ Blender Pens and the beautiful hostess stamp set, Very Vintage. Have you seen today’s video yet? If not you can see it on my Youtube Channel. The card is actually a case of a card I received in a swap I did with my training group. The original creator is fellow demonstrator Sacha Wilson in New Mexico. Thank you Sacha for your lovely creation! Here are the measurements of my take on her card:
- Card base in Thick Very Vanilla cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Mossy Meadow cardstock cut at 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
- Merry Merlot cardstock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Mossy Meadow cardstock cut at 3″ x 4″
- Very Vanilla cardstock cut at 3 7/8″ x 2 7/8″
First I stamped the flower in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on the small Very Vanilla cardstock. Then using my Blender Pen, I colored the roses in Merry Merlot, the leaves in Mossy Meadow and the little flowers in Pacific Point. I stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink then adhere it to the small Mossy Meadow layer. I stamped the doily in Memento ink on the corners of the Merry Merlot layer, then ran it through the Big Shot with the Pinewood Plank Embossing Folder. Once it was embossed I adhered it to the Mossy Meadow layer, then to the card base. Using some Tear & Tape adhesive, I added a piece of the Very Vanilla Lace Trim, then added the flowers layer with dimensionals. I added some Wink of Stella and pearls and fell in love with the card all over again!
