Hey everyone, how is your week going? Mine has been busy in both good and not so good ways, but I am still trudging through it. I wanted to share another look at one of the 2018-2020 In Colors, Grapefruit Grove. Here are the measurements for today’s card:
- Card base in Thick Very Vanilla cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- 2018-2020 In Color DSP cut at 2 1/2″ x 5″
- Soft Suede cut at 4 1/2″ x 3 1/2″
- Very Vanilla cut at 4″ x 3″
Since I chose one of the Hostess Sets, Very Vintage, I wanted to use something soft and went with Grapefruit Grove. Back in the day one of my favorite color combos was peach and brown, so I went with Soft Suede to pair with it. I stamped the flowers in Soft Suede and colored just the roses with my Blender Pen and some Grapefruit Grove ink. Then I added some Wink of Stella to all the flower and when it dried, I adhered it to the Soft Suede. I adhered the DSP to the left side of the card base, then added the flower layers to the card base with some dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment in Soft Suede and punched it out with the Classic Label Punch. I then pressed each side into the Grapefruit Grove ink pad to color just the edges so it would break up the Very Vanilla color. I added it to the card front with mini dimensionals, then added two of the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls. I love how you can interchange all of our products between suites. I thought it needed one more little something, so I added a double bow of Very Vanilla Baker’s Twine with a mini glue dot and called it done. I love it! How about you?
