Hey everyone. how’s your weekend going? Is it as hot where you are as it is here? Oh well, perfect crafting weather. I wanted to share a card I made with the new Thoughtful Branches stamp set that will be available starting on Tuesday, August 2nd. Isn’t this beautiful? This set not only has great sentiments, but the coordinating thinlets can create not only some beautiful trees, but as you see here, an absolutely gorgeous hydrangea.
With the hydrangea in mind, I used a Soft Sky, Garden Green, and Rich Razzleberry color palette. This is a quick and easy card with it’s simple lines and the pearls add just a touch of elegance. I used the retired Itty Bitty Accent Punch and punched out some Soft Sky to add some dimension. Once they punched out, I sponged the edges and then took my stylus inked up the bigger end and pressed it in the middle of each flower. It gave each flower a pop of color, and then added a pearl.
