Hey everyone! Happy Wednesday and Catalog Launch Day!! I am actually working from my daughter’s house in Chico, CA this morning. The beauty of being your own boss and having a job that you can take on the go!! lol

Just like packing for a crop! lol I have to say that tote bag we can purchase as a demonstrator really comes in handy and it holds a ton of stuff!! And it is so cute – not to mention, it matches the Stamparatus bag! You just look so stylish on the go!! lol

So I wanted to share the first card I created from some of the items in the Let It Snow Suite. It is so cute and even has a Snowman Builder Punch! But as you can see, I didn’t use it for this project. 😛 Here are the measurements for today’s card:

  • Card base in Coastal Cabana cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Whisper White cardstock cut at 3 3/4″ x 5″
  • Let It Snow DSP cut at 2″ x 3 3/4″
  • Real Red Glimmer paper cut at 1/2″ x 3 3/4″

Yes, you saw that right, Real Red Glimmer Paper!!!! Perfect for the holidays because we all need more sparkle, right?!? When I started I had planned to use the snowman punch, but just didn’t like it with this design, so I improvised! I stamped the snowman image at the top of the Whisper White layer in Tuxedo Black ink and the sentiment in Real Red ink under it. Next I stamped the hat over the end of the greeting and colored it with the Dark Smoky Slate, Light Real Red, Light Call Me Clover and Light Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends Markers. Then I colored his nose with the Light Pumpkin Pie Blends. When I finished that, I glued the DSP at the bottom and the glimmer paper over the seam and then all to the card base. Then I colored the snowman with Wink of Stella, or as we call it “Wanda”, so he’ll shimmer.

For the inside, I stamped some snowflakes in Coastal Cabana and the sentiment in Real Red inks. So cute!!

If  you’re noticing a different background in my pictures, I forgot to take the pictures at home, but my daughter’s kitchen counter works just fine!! lol Now, if you are ready to start shopping from the Holiday Catalog, just head over here. When you shop and use the Host Code for September, 2EJQ9BND, I’ll send you a pack of handmade cards all ready to mail out.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great afternoon!
