Nothing like waiting til the last minute! LOL Here are the last 2 sneak peeks for tonight’s Hostess Club Workshop. I’m not sure where my week ends up going, but somehow I got behind…again. 😉 So here’s card number 2.

Isn’t that adorable? I was trolling through Pinterest looking for ideas and found this there by another demo and knew I wanted to case it. After I created this yesterday, I was going on to my online store, which is a site that is maintained by Stampin’ Up!, and this card is one of the samples posted on it. I about fell over! I knew I really loved this card!!

The background is created with the Brick Wall 6×6 Embossing folder. So glad that is carrying over to the new catalog! When you first see this stamp set you tend to lean towards a baby card since there are some baby elements. But then when you actually look at it, you see there are so many more possibilities. This stamp set is also a carry over. After I stamped the scene, I added a small piece of Bermuda Bay, then rounded the corners. After I flagged the ends of the ribbon I glued it to the back of the card stock and then popped it up with dimensionals. Added a bow of white twine and some rhinestones and voila! Clean and simple just the way I like it!

Here’s card number three. Unfortunately we always need a sympathy card and I do like to keep some on hand, but let’s be real, we hardly ever create extras. This one is created using the heat embossing technique with white embossing powder. There are pearls added to it afterwards, but it’s hard to see them in the picture. After I added the ribbon, I adhered the Night of Navy piece to a Whisper White piece, but thought the card needed something more. I cut a piece of the Floral Boutique to add to it and thought that helped. This didn’t turn out like I had planned, but it’s not bad. See? these are the hardest cards ever for me to create.

I hope you like tonight’s creations. Did you know that you can get the kits to create these cards too?
