June WS 1

Hey everyone! How is your week going? Here’s a look at one of the projects we’ll be making Friday night at our June Workshop. We are now into the second week of the new 2016-2017 Annual Catalog, so you know we’re going to use some of the new goodies. I actually cased this card from fellow demonstrator Linda Bauwin, but changed up the stamp sets.

I used the new Touches of Texture stamp set. It has such a subtle look to the texture, I just love it. I took a piece of Whisper White and stamped around it in Crumb Cake leaving enough room for the flowers in the center. I stamped them in Cucumber Crush then colored the flowers using the new Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Write Marker and Pink Pirouette. I colored the leaves with Wild Wasabi. The sentiment is from the Tin of Cards and stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. So of course I had to add some of the new Flirty Flamingo Ruched Ribbon. Note to self: stamp your sentiment after you temporarily place your ribbon for the best placement. I decided at the last minute to add the ribbon and almost didn’t have enough room for it.   🙂  And if anyone knows me, you know there has to be some bling on my cards, and of course there is a touch of bling on this one. I dabbed a little Tombo Multipurpose Glue on the centers of the flowers and added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter. The bee is stamped in the same black and colored with a Daffodil Delight maker. To finish it off I layered the Whisper White onto Flirty Flamingo, then onto Crumb Cake.

I am liking all the new items I’ve gotten from the new catalog so far, but then SU! has such superior products that it’s hard not to. And if you love their products as much as I do, you can get even more. During the month of June you can actually add 2 extra stamp sets of your choice to the Starter Kit for free. What’s the Starter Kit you ask? Well, for $99.00 you get to purchase $125.00 worth of product (more depending on the free sets you choose) and free shipping. Not only do you get to take advantage of a discount on your future purchases, but you get early access to all promotions and products before everyone else. You can be a hobby demonstrator or start your own business, it’s all up to you. If you think this is something you’d be interested in, contact me today.

Come back tomorrow for another sneak peek of Friday’s projects. I hope you have a good evening and I thank you for stopping by.
