Hey everyone! How is your Monday going? Mine is starting off late in the studio today as I had several appointments this morning, one of which was to renew my driver’s license. Yuck! But I’m back now! I want to get back to showcasing products each week and we’re going to start with that gorgeous bundle, Gather Together.
I love the leaves and pumpkins in the set! Our first look is the card that we created last Saturday at my Catalog Launch and BOGO sale. We had a blast!! So here are the measurements for our first card:
- Card base in Cajun Craze cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Whisper White cardstock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Pretty Peacock cardstock cut at 1″ x 4″
- Merry Merlot cardstock cut at 2 1/2″ x 3 1/4″
- Gather Together DSP cut at 2 1/4″ x 3″
After I cut everything to the above sizes, I stamped the sentiment in Cajun Craze ink on the lower right corner of the Whisper White layer, then glued it to the card base. I then glued the Pretty Peacock layer down and then added the Merry Merlot and DSP layers. Next I stamped the leaf in Pretty Peacock on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock and cut it out with the coordinating die. I added that with a dimensionals and a double bow of the Cajun Craze twine that comes in the combo pack of ribbon. Added the rhinestones and done!
