Hey everyone! Happy Wednesday. I have been in my room catching up on some personal cards and thought I’d share this one. This card is for my youngest who just got a rescue kitty. I don’t know much about cats, but I think her cat is some sort of calico and her name is Cleo, short for Cleopatra which is the perfect name when you look at her. I think they call this type of calico a tortie? Is that short for tortoise? See? Told you I don’t know about cats. 🙂  Here are the measurements of the card:

  • Card base in Smoky Slate cut at 4 1/4″ x 11″
  • Tranquil Tide layer cut at 3 3/4″ x 5″
  • Delightful Daisy DSP cut at 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″
  • Tranquil Tide layer cut at 2 1/8″ x 3 5/8″
  • Whisper White cut at 2″ x 3 1/2″

I created this card with scraps again, I love trying to find ways to do that. First I added the DSP to a piece of Tranquil Tide and adhered both to the card front. I stamped the kitty in Basic Black, then using Blender Pens, I colored her with black and Peekaboo Peach to match my daughter’s kitty. Then I color the flowers and flower pot with Tranquil Tide, Old Olive, So Safron, and Smoky Slate. Then I stamped the greeting with Basic Black and added it to another piece of Tranquil Tide. I tied some leftover twine at the bottom, added some dimensionals to it and adhered it to the card. Of course you know I had to add some bling to it, so I sprinkled on some rhinestones. I think it turned out cute. Coloring the kitty like hers was a little challenging, but I know she’ll know who it is. 😉

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a fantastic Wednesday!
