Hey everyone! Happy Monday!! I wanted to remind you that there are only 2 days left to take advantage of the Stampin’ Up! World Card Making Day Event Specials! Now is the time to stock up on the essentials up to 25% off. And there’s a Bonus Deal! When you purchase the new Fast Fuse you will get a free refill. That’s a $7.50 savings!
Also on sale during the month of October is Designer Series Paper. It’s a Buy 3 Get One Free sale. We crafters can always use more paper!!!
I also wanted to share with you the little pumpkin tea light that I made as the pillow gift for the ladies that came to my WCMD event this past Saturday.
Isn’t this adorable?!? I used the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlets to create the pumpkin, then sponged the edges with Pumpkin Pie ink. When you cut this out, you have to cut 2 pieces, and the best adhesive to glue these together is the Fast Fuse because of the strength of the adhesive. (on sale too!!) I used one of the leaves from the Leaflets Framelits dies for the window. I added a piece of vellum to hide the battery tea light and to give it a soft glow.
I used the Vintage Leaves to stamp the smaller leaf and cut it out again using the framelits. The curly stem was made with a small strip of Old Olive that I wound around a paint brush handle. So adorable and the perfect little gift box that could hold candies as well.
I hope you have a great week. Remember to take advantage of the WCMD event sale and don’t forget the Designer Series Paper! You can shop at my store here and when you use Hostess Code PAYPF492, I will send you a pack of handmade cards all ready for gift giving. And, if you spend $50.00 or more, I’ll include a free embellishment! Win-win!! Thanks for stopping by!
