Hey everyone! I wanted to give you a sneak peek to the first project we are creating this Friday night at our November Workshop. Such a fun card and so simple to make!
The card base is created with Emerald Envy cut at 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 ” and scored at 4 1/4″. I took a 3 1/2 x 4 1/2″ piece of vellum brushed it with the Embossing Buddy first, then stamped the Happy Ornament in Basic Black Archival Ink. The Embossing Buddy gets rid of any static cling so that embossing powders don’t stick. To keep the ink from smudging I then heat embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder. I then took a 3 1/2 x 4 1/2″ piece of the Presents & Pinecones Designer Series Paper and added some Fast Fuse on the corners and a small bit on the back of the vellum right at the know of the bow and then adhered it to the dsp. I added it to a 3 3/4 x 4 3/4″ piece of Cherry Cobbler. I then added some Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhered it to the card base. I then tied a bow with the Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine from the Trio Pack and using a mini glue dot added it to the front of the card. Of course I had to add some bling so Rhinestone Basic Jewels it was. This is a really good card to mass produce so it’s perfect for your Christmas cards this year.
If this card is something you want to add to your stash and want to purchase the supplies to make yours, head over to my online store here to place your order. If you use Hostess Code 66GUZUBY, I will send you a pack of handmade cards. If you order is $50.00 or more, I’ll send you a pack of embellishments to add to your projects. We always need more bling in our creations!
Thank you stopping by and be sure to come back tomorrow for another sneak peek. Have a great evening!
