Hey everyone! I hope your Thursday is going well. I wanted to share a birthday card created with the Layered with Kindness stamp set and a coordinating punch. It’s a pretty quick and simple card too, which is always the best kind!
Here are the measurements:
- Card base in Blackberry Bliss cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- Old Olive cardstock cut at 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″
- Peaceful Poppies DSP cut at 3″ x 4″
I knew I wanted to use some of that gorgeous DSP and something in purple tones. This sheet is perfect for that! After I cut all the pieces, I glued the DSP to the Old Olive layer and added a piece of the Polka Tulle Ribbon and tied it in a knot at the very left. Next I stamped the label in Blackberry Bliss ink on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock and punched it out with the new Label Me Lovely punch. There are actually two different punches that go with this stamp set and they are both adorable! Once I punched it out I wanted some kind of mat for it, so I punched out a 2 1/4″ circle of Mossy Meadow. Perfect! I glued them together and added them tot he card front with dimensionals. I thought that the decorations above and below the sentiment were just calling for a rhinestone!
For the inside I used the sentiment from the Sale-a-bration stamp set, Sending You Thoughts stamp set. I stamped it in Blackberry Bliss ink and the leaves from the Layered with Kindness set in Old Olive. I think it turned goes really well with the DSP.
