Be sure to join my email list. 🙂 I wanted to share another card with the It Starts With Art Bundle. I love that the elements look so much like some of the Stampin’ Up! products and that embellishment kit that coordinates has some really adorable elements. I used a couple of them on this card. Here are the measurements:
- Card base in Pacific Point cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Whisper White layer cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″ and 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ on the inside
- Follow Your Art DSP cut at 3 3/4″ x 5″
I actually created this card with all scraps too!! Everybody loves using up those scraps! I started by gluing the DSP to the Whisper Whiter layer, then both to the card front. Next I stamped the markers, glitter glue bottle and the ribbon spools in Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with the Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers and then cut them out with the coordinating dies. Next I cut the largest stitched oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies and stamped the sentiment on the lower right corner in Pacific Point ink, added some dimensionals and added it to the card front. I used Mini Glue Dots to glue the markers, (actually they are a Stampin’ Write Marker, Stampin’ Blends Marker and a Watercolor Pencil images) and then added a dimensional to the back and glued it to the oval. I added some Wink of Stella to the glitter glue bottle and then added it to the oval with a dimensional. Next I grabbed the Embellishment Kit and took out one of the felt stitched hearts in Calypso Coral. The kit has 4 small “sheets” of felt, one in Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana, Blushing Bride and Crushed Curry. Felt seems to be making a huge comeback, so I’m glad we have some. Any way, I tied a bow in the Pacific Point Baker’s Twine added it to the heart with a Mini Glue Dot, then glued it to the oval with another dimensional. Of course I needed to add some more bling, so I added some rhinestones.
I had colored the spool of ribbon, but since I didn’t end up using it on the front, I thought I’d just add it to the inside. I left the sentiment blank since I’m not sure who is going to get this card. I think it turned out cute!
