Hey everyone! How is your Wednesday going? For all of those that are affected by Hurricane Michael, know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. I can’t even imagine going through something like that, although we had our shares of wild fires this summer and that’s just as bad.

I have another look at the Candy Cane Season and there aren’t even any candy canes on it! Here are the measurements for the card:

  • Card base in Garden Green cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Santa’s Workshop DSP cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Poppy Parade cardstock cut at 2″ x 3 1/4″
  • Whisper White cardstock cut at 1 3/4″ x 2 1/2″ and 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ for the inside

This card is another project that is created from all scraps which is my favorite way to use them up. It’s also a quick and easy card which is something everyone loves when it comes to mass producing those Christmas cards. The DSP is adhered down to the card front and then I created the tag. I took a scrap of Poppy Parade and created the tag with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch. Then I cut the scrap of Whisper White to fit and stamped the “ho ho ho” in Garden Green ink. I attached it to the tag and added that piece of Silver Metallic Edged ribbon and tied a bow in the new Garden Green Baker’s Twine. I added it to the card front with dimensionals. I thought it needed a little something, so I added the for you layer with a scalloped circle of Garden Green. For the inside, I stamped the two-step holly image in Garden Green ink and the hollies in Poppy Parade ink. The be jolly sentiment is also in Poppy Parade ink. Here’s a look at it:

Isn’t adorable? And so easy to create! That Santa’s Workshop Specialty DSP goes so well with this stamp set and it just makes the cutest projects!
