Hey everyone! I know it’s Sunday, but I’m finally getting my CASE-ing Tuesday card done. It’s been a busy week around the studio with our Card Club classes and our team gathering. I’m sure you have seen what we are casing (copy and share everything) this week, but just in case you missed it, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:
Isn’t that a cute card? Every time we have a new catalog launch at Stampin’ Up! the design team at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group get to choose a card to case and this is the one I chose. So even though I’m late, I thought I better play this week! Here’s a look at my take this week:
Our team is playing with the Lovely Blossoms Suite today, so I decided to use it for this week’s card. I followed all of the measurements for everything except the sentiment layer; for that I used the coordinating die from the bundle. I used two separate pieces of the DSP from the Lovely Blossoms pack, and attached them with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive. I stamped my sentiment in Secret Sea ink on the label and added it with dimensionals. I then die cut the leaves in Secret Sea cardstock and added Wink of Stella to get the leaves to sparkle. I inked the flower image in Cloud Cover ink and colored the center of the flower with my Secret Sea Stampin’ Write Marker, which sadly are no longer available. If you didn’t get those while the markers were available, you could always use a dauber to color the center. I then stamped it on a scrap of white and die cut, added the leaves with a mini glue dot and attached the flowers with dimensionals. And of course I had to add some bling, which is from the Moody Palette Glossy Dots.
For the inside, I stamped the sentiment in Secret Sea ink on a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White and added a 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ strip of the DSP.
And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! This is a great place to add some of that pretty DSP and tie the whole project together!
