Hey everyone! Happy Fall!! My very favorite time of the year, except for Christmas of course. 😉 So to celebrate the first day of fall I wanted to share this banner we made at my team meeting last weekend. Isn’t it adorable??? I just love it, and so did the girls in my team. So much fun to create and you could hang it anywhere since it’s not very big.
Here’s the skeleton. Don’t you just love his bow tie? And that grin just makes me laugh.
The scarecrow is my absolute favorite. I have always loved scarecrows, but he is just too cute.
Who doesn’t love pumpkins? This pumpkin was created with the Oval Layering Framelits and I free cut the stem.
This little vampire is no Edward, but he is cute. Had to add some bling to his bow tie.
And last but not least is the mummy. Not much you can do with a mummy but add Wink of Stella so he can sparkle!
All these little cuties were created using the Halloween Cookie Cutter stamp set and Cookie Cutter Builder punch. I think it’s one of my favorites from the new Holiday Catalog. We stamped them on Watercolor Paper and used Blender Pens to color where needed. The moon on the bat above was made by using a dauber and Crushed Curry. Blender Pens have become my new favorite coloring tools too. All this time I’ve been a demo and I’ve just started using them….go figure. The scarecrow was colored with Pool Party and Delightful Dijon, and the vampire was colored in Sweet Sugar Plum and Delightful Dijon on the cross. Each of the little guys are stamped in Basic Black Archival ink and popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals then hung on the Kraft Rope (also in the new Holiday Catalog) with the Gold Binder Clips. Those little things are strong! The word fall was stamped using the Layered Letters Alphabet stamp set in Crumb Cake. It’s a photopolymer stamp set that makes lining up letters really easy since you can see through the stamps.
I hope you have had a great first day of fall. The weather here in Redding was actually fall like, but summer temps are headed back for the weekend. Oh well. If you use Hostess Code PEN7AKMY and I’ll send you a pack of handmade cards all ready to send out. Thanks for stopping by!
