Hey everyone! I wanted to share this birthday card that I made for a very special friend of mine. She’s actually the one who introduced me to Stampin’ Up! Who would have thought that one little card class would lead to all this!! 🙂
I created this card with a Rich Razzleberry card base cut at 8 1/2 x 5 1/2″. The layers are Night of Navy cut at 4 x 3″, Mint Macaron at 3 3/4 x 2 3/4″ and the Designer Series Paper Petals and Paisleys cut at 3 1/2 x 2 1/2″. The ribbon in Rich Razzleberry which is part of the new Trio Pack of 3/8″ ribbon. It coordinates with the DSP very well. I then cut a piece of Rich Razzleberry at 2 1/4 x 2″ and a Very Vanilla at 2 x 1 3/4″ and are popped up with a Stampin’ Dimensional. The sentiment is stamped in Night of Navy and is from the Better Together stamp set. I love this set not only for the font style, but it’s perfect for both inside and outside the card sentiments. And I had to finish it off with some Pearl Basic Jewels to give it some extra bling.
So not only was it her birthday earlier this month, but it is also my 5 year anniversary with SU! How time flies when you’re having fun!! It is amazing how much fun this job is and all the friends I have made since I became a part of this company. Best. Decision. Ever.
