Hey everyone! Happy Friday! Let the weekend begin with a final sneak peek of our Quick ‘n Easy Christmas Card class tomorrow.
Isn’t this an elegant card? I cased this from another demo, and now I can’t find the original post to give her credit. I loved the gold and white on her card but I did change it up a little. That is the beauty of casing a card, you can copy exactly, or put your spin on it.
This is created using the Thick Whisper White card stock cut at 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″. I took a 2″ x 4″ piece of the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate and added a 3/4″ strip of Gold Foil paper to it. I used some of the Mini Glue Dots to adhere it to a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of regular Whisper White. That acetate is gorgeous, one side is gold and the other is silver so you could go either way with this card. I then added three sprigs of Always Artichoke branches, Early Espresso pine cone, and Gold Foil bow cut with the Pretty Pines Thinlets. I used glue dots to attach them all together and attached it to the card with a Stampin’ Dimensional. The sentiment from the Christmas Pines stamp set is stamped in Early Espresso. To top off the bow, I added a gold enamel dot from the Metallic Enamel Dots set. Once that was all adherred, I added dimensionals to the layer and adherred it to the card base. Just a clean and simple card.
