Hey everyone! Happy CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time visiting me, welcome and please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. Have you seen what we are casing (copy and share everything) this week over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group? If not, here’s a look at the sample and sketch:

Isn’t that a fun card? As you can see, I was lazy this week and went with DSP instead of creating all of those circles. But I do have an excuse for my laziness! Our sweet Miss Bailey was spayed and I was pretty busy with her. She’s fine, but really needed her mommy. 😉

Now a look at my take for the week.

I decided to use product from an upcoming suite that will go live on Sept. 3rd. You’ve probably seen product from the Peaceful Garden Suite as it is the product that demonstrators were able to play with back in June during our Creativity Now event. I started with a Secret Sea card base and added a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of the Peaceful Garden DSP. I trimmed a scrap of Cloud Cover cardstock to the strip measurements and stamped my sentiment in Secret Sea ink. I really love this ink for stamping sentiments! I then die cut the dove in a scrap of Basic White and then added it and the sentiment strip with dimensionals. The embellishments are called Hues of Blue Flowers, although I think they look like stars, and I added them to the card.

For the inside, I stamped my sentiment and added a 1/2″ strip of the DSP to a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White cardstock.

And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! And doesn’t that DSP look gorgeous on the flap?

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on this week’s sample or sketch and share it with us on the Facebook Group. We would love to see your creation! And don’t forget the In Color Sale is going on right now! You may not be able to get the bundle or the DSP, but you can order ink and cardstocks now and be ready to create when the Sept. – Dec. Mini Catalog goes live! Let me know if you need a catalog and we’ll get you taken care of!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great week!
