Hello and welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is off to a good start. If this is your first time visiting my neck of the woods, please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here! Have you seen the card we’re casing (copy and share everything) this week over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a cute card? Each time Stampin’ Up! releases a new catalog the Design Team at the CT FB Group choose a card in the catalog to case and this was one of mine. Well, let me begin this with a “what was I thinking?” question! lol If you play along this week and struggle when you create this, let me say, I’m truly sorry. 🙂 As I was casing this, I had some issues and I am not entirely happy with my take, but hey, it’s handmade, right?

To say this didn’t turn out like I saw it in my head is an understatement! lol But….that’s okay! I followed all of the measurements in the sketch – thank goodness for sketches! The sketch really helped with this one. I used the Floral Charm DSP, using one strip for the three pieces as they are front and back of the strip. I used Petal Pink for the other two strips and stamped the large image in Pretty Peacock ink on both. I attached it all of those layers with Stampin’ Seal, and not straight I see. Oops! Again, oh well. The sentiment strip is raised with dimensionals with all of the layers being added to a Lost Lagoon card base. The bling is from the Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots that are part of the Suite.

For the inside, I stamped the sentiment, again in Pretty Peacock ink, and added a 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ stripof the DSP to a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White.

And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! I stamped that gorgeous image on the front in Pretty Peacock.

I have to say though, this Suite of product is beautiful and one that should be on your wish list or next order! Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up. That’s the fun part of casing – you get to create it your way with your style! And if you have a hard time with it, I completely understand!! lol

Have a great Tuesday!!
