Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday!! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time visiting my little neck of the woods, welcome and please be sure to join my email list here. Have you had a chance to stop by the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a cute card? As you can see, I changed mine up quite a bit.

When I saw this week’s casing, I knew it would be perfect for some of our gorgeous DSP. I decided to use the Thoughtful Journey DSP, which I’m happy to say is carrying forward into the new catalog, and thought it paired well with a Basic Beige card base. I used the Countryside Corners die for the 4″ x 5 1/4″ layer so that I could get quite a bit of the pattern. I trimmed my DSP to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and attachd it with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive. I then added the die cut layer with dimensionals. Next I stamped the sentiment from the Mixed Labels stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a strip of Petunia Pop cardstock. I snipped the edges and added it with a dimensional on the left side and a bit of Seal on the right side to keep it flush. For my bling I thought some of the dragonflies from the Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds went perfectly.

For the inside of the card I added a 1/2″ x 5″ strip of the DSP to a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White and stamped my sentiment in Early Espresso ink.

I decided to decorate my envelope with another of the great sentiments on the envelope flap.

Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s sample or sketch and share it with us over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up like I did. That’s the fun part of casing – you get to make it your way and with your style. I love to see all of the inspiration each week when everyone posts their cards!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope I was able to inspire you and that you decide to play along with us. If you would like to add any of the product I used today, you can head over to my online store here to shop. I hope you have a great week!
