Welcome to the last CASE-ing Tuesday of November! If this is your first time here, be sure to join my email list for all the scrappy news around here. Have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet today to see what we are casing? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that sample card adorable?!? I really wanted to copy that one exactly as is, but since the Christmastime is Here suite of products is only available until Saturday, I decided to give it some love. I followed the measurements in the sketch for my card, except for my piece of DSP, I cut it to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ so that I could show off some of the Mossy Meadow cardstock card base. I went with a scrap of Soft Sea Foam cardstock for the layer and stamped my sentiment from the Christmas Rose stamp set in Early Espresso ink. Next I fussy cut the roses out of the DSP and added it to the card front with dimensionals. Then I had to add some of those gorgeous Gold Glitter Enamel Dots for bling.

The piece of DSP that I cut those roses from is the same piece that you can cut the other rose image out with the coordinating dies. And since I wouldn’t want to waste ANY of that gorgeous paper, I went ahead and cut the image out that was right on the edge of the 12″ x 12″ piece of paper with that die. I then glued it to the inside of my card. After all, why not decorate the inside, right? Then I cut my inside Whisper White layer at 4″ x 5 1/4″ and stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink and glued it to the inside.

Isn’t that pretty? And I have plenty of room to write a little note on the inside. Now it’s your turn. Create your take on today’s sample and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. You can create it as is, or change it up a little or a lot, it’s all up to you. That’s the fun part of casing (copy and share everything), the sky’s the limit! If you aren’t a member of the group yet, that’s okay, just request to join, we would love to have you play along!

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great Tuesday!
