Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! Have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group this morning to see today’s case? If not, here’s what we are casing this week:

Just an absolutely beautiful card. And as you can tell, I only went with the sketch design of the card. Since my Product of the Week is the Trick or Tweet stamp set, I knew I was going to be a little challenged with this case. Here are the measurements for my card:

  • Card base in Lemon Lime Twist cardstock cut at 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″
  • Toil & Trouble DSP cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Whisper White strip 3/4″ by 3″

I chose the Lemon Lime Twist cardstock to coordinate with the piece of DSP to be a tone-on-tone effect. I know they used Vellum for the sample, but I chose to use DSP instead, but with a similar effect. Next I stamped that cute little mummy kitty on a scrap of Whisper White and colored him with the Dark Smokey Slate Blends Marker and the Dark Petal Pink for his ears, then I cut him out with my snips. I stamped the little pumpkin and colored him with the Dark Pumpkin Pie marker, cut him out and added him to the kitty’s paw with a Mini Glue Dot. I stamped the sentiment on another scrap piece of Whisper White, ran a strip of Fast Fuse (oh how I have missed this adhesive!) on the back and added a scrap of the Glitter Ribbon. I added some dimensionals and adhered it to the card front. I added a couple of dimensionals to the kitty and slipped him under the sentiment strip and popped out the little pumpkin over the top. I punched out some of those spooky bats in that gorgeous Black Foil paper and added them with dimensionals. I LOVED how this turned out!!! Isn’t it amazing how you can take the sketch of a card and make it so different, yet still somewhat the same?

Now it’s your turn. Create your take on today’s case and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. You can change it up a little or a lot, that’s the beauty of casing (copy and share everything)! Thank you for stopping by and I really do hope you join us!
