Hey everyone, TGIF! And not to mention it’s a holiday weekend!! Woo hoo!! So I wanted to show you the final card we’ll be creating tomorrow at my event. This is using the new Seasonal Bells stamp set and coordinating Bell Punch. I chose to use the wedding sentiment so that we had a variety of cards for the event. I just realized that this almost looks like the color of the bridesmaids’s dresses when we got married 31 years ago next week. No wonder I was drawn to it. 😉
I used Thick Whisper White for the card base, Sweet Sugarplum for the mat and ink on the bells. I paired it with Silver Glimmer paper to match the new Silver Glitter ribbon that comes in a two pack pairing it with Glitter Sweet Sugarplum. I cut a 2 x 2 inch square of the Fancy Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper is a white-on-white textured paper that can be inked to show off the texture/embossing. I chose to leave it white and mat it on a 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 inch piece of Silver Foil paper. I stamped the bells and sentiment in the Sweet Sugarplum. I punched a bell with the Silver Glimmer paper and used the Layering Ovals Framelits for the sentiment, punched it up with dimensionals and used a mini glue dot to the back of the bells and then added it to the bottom corner. I added some Silver Dazzling Details in the corners and to the ball on the bell and the swirls above the sentiment to tie it all in. Definitely a fun card to create. Now all I need is a wedding to go to. LOL!
