Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday project! I hope your week is off to a good start. If this is your first time stopping by, be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here.  Have you had a chance to see what we are casing (copy and share everything) this week? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Case-ing Tuesday Portrait Templates –

Isn’t that a cute card? I have used that paper and DSP a lot lately, so I decided to pull out the Woven Textures DSP this week. I decided to pair it with the Enduring Beauty stamps, masks and dies. After I finished the card and went to get the bundle item number, I found that it had retired with the 24/25 Annual Catalog. Oh well, for those that have this set, here’s another sample for you!

This is definitely a bundle that I am keeping! It just is so fun to play with and the color combos are endless. I knew I was going to use blues and browns, so I pulled out a Balmy Blue card base. I stamped the large image in Memento ink and then colored it with my blending brushes in Crumb Cake ink for the leaves and Balmy Blue for the flowers. I then cut it out with the large die. I also die cut some leaves in Crumb Cake and Balmy Blue cardstocks. Since the image is so large, I decided to cut my DSP layer larger than the sketch measurements, otherwise the DSP just got lost behind the flowers. I cut it at 3 3/4″ x 4 3/4″ and attached it to my card base with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive and then added the flowers with dimensionals. The label from the die set was already cut in Basic White, so I stamped my sentiment in Early Espresso ink and added it with dimensionals. I added one of the leaves in Crumb Cake and a tiny bow in the Balmy Blue twine from the Three Color Pack of twine with mini glue dots and sprinkled on three of the white dots from the Neutral Matt Dots pack.

For the inside I stamped my sentiment in Early Espresso on a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White and attached it with Seal. I added a 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ piece of the same DSP plus one of the Balmy Blue die cut leaves. I think the inside is just as cute as the outside!

And don’t forget to decorate your envelope. I stamped the large flower image on the front corner of the envelope. Only problem, the envelope was sitting upside down when I stamped it! oops! lol I’m going to use it anyway!! I think the stamp will look nice nestled in the flowers!! lol

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on this week’s sample or sketch and share it with us over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up. That’s the fun part of casing – you get to make it your way with your style! We would love to have you join us!
