Hey everyone! Welcome to Sneak Peek #2 for our World Card Making Day event. I am so excited to show this guy off, I am just in love with him!! And he’s so much fun to create! Would you believe that he is created using the Owl Builder Punch? It’s amazing what you can create with that punch!
The card base is Thick Whisper White, layered with Real Red and Cucumber Crush that was embossed using the Festive Textured Impression Embossing Folder. It’s actually a 6 x 6 folder. The tag was created with the Scalloped Tag Punch and has a piece of Red Glimmer Paper added. The elf is punched out of Blushing Bride and his ears were made using the Flower Medallion punch. The hat was created by punching Cucumber Crush with the new Jolly Hat Builder punch and more Red Glimmer Paper. Isn’t the little jingle bell adorable??? I used one of the scalloped circles from the Circle Layering Framelits. I used the Lots of Labels Framelits and used the sentiment from the Stitched With Cheer stamp set. And as if the glimmer paper wasn’t enough, I had to add some bling to the sentiment. Those little ends are just screaming for a rhinestone, right? Then to top it off, I added some of the new Candy Cane Lane Bakers Twine.
This card just makes me smile! The cool part, you could always take the tag of and use for a present. Just love multitasking projects. 🙂
