Hey everyone! Happy Friday! I hope you have had a good week and are ready for a fun-filled weekend! I wanted to share my graduation card using the Witty-cisms stamp set which is the set we’ll be using for our stamping projects at our Virtual Bingo on the 30th. Have you heard about it? You don’t have to be local to join us, which for my out-of-area friends, this is just for you!!! We may be in a lock-down situation, but we can still gather virtually, stamp and play bingo! Here’s the details:
We’ll be stamping 6 projects, 2 of 3 designs, and playing 6 games of bingo. Your registration fee includes a goody bag full of supplies to create your cards plus 2 lucky bingo cards. You’ll even have the option to order additional bingo cards for $10.00 for a set 2 cards! We’ll be using the adorable Witty-cisms stamp set to create our projects, but if you don’t have it, you can add it to your order or just use whatever you have at home. Cost is $39.00 (includes shipping for all supplies to be mailed directly to you) And you will have the option to add the stamp set and extra bingo cards so that they can be mailed to you too. The best part is that all of the prizes for the winners of the bingo games are brand new product from the upcoming 2020-2021 Annual Catalog!!!! How do you register? Just click on these links to register:
We will begin playing bingo promptly at 1:00 on May 30th. I will open the Zoom Room about 30 minutes before hand so that you all have time to log in and ask any questions you may have. We will play our games of bingo and then for those that want to stay, we’ll stamp our projects together. You don’t have to stay and stamp, but it will be fun to visit!! I will email out the zoom info next week to all participants. Registration is due today and then I will place the order for your supplies and prizes. I will be shipping out your project packets as soon as I receive the supplies, on or about the 20th in priority mail envelopes. You will also receive an email with the tutorial for your projects the same day I mail out your packets. Don’t wait to register as today is the last day!!
Here’s today’s project:
Here are the measurements for today’s project:
- Card base in Thick Whisper White cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Whisper White cardstock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Garden Green cardstock cut at 4″ x 2″
I masked the words off the cap image and randomly stamped it in Garden Green ink on the Garden Green layer and then glued it to the Whisper White layer. Next I added a piece of the Silver Metallic Edged Ribbon with the cheater method. Not familiar with my cheater method? It’s really quite simple. Just cut a strip of ribbon about an inch longer then your layer and tape it on either end to your layer. Then you cut another smaller strip and use that as your knot. You just slip it under the ribbon and tie it. It really helps save on ribbon! And since I don’t add that piece until I add my next layer, you can adjust it to go right where you want it. I then glued these layers to the card front. Next I stamped the image with the words on a scrap of Whisper White, punched it out with the 2″ circle punch and added that to a Starburst punch of Silver Foil. **The Starburst Punch is retiring, so if you don’t have this in your arsenal, get it now before it’s gone!!** After I layered the circle to the starburst punch, I added it to the card front with dimensionals and then sprinkled on some rhinestones. Isn’t that cute and so simple!!
I hope you enjoyed today’s project and I hope you decide to join for our Virtual Stampin’ Bingo!! Have a great Friday!!
