Hey everyone! Happy Saturday!! I don’t know about you, but I am soooooo ready for fall! Between the smoke and the heat, this is one tired lady here. So with the thought that fall isn’t really that far off, I decided to create one last card with the Blended Seasons Bundle. I actually cased the card from the flyer that Stampin’ Up! created for this promotion. When I saw this card, I just knew I had to create it. Here are the measurements:
- Card base in Soft Suede cardstock, cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Crumb Cake cardstock cut at 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Whisper White cardstock 1″ strip scrap
I started off by stamping the leaves image twice in Soft Suede ink and then colored them with the new Assortment 2 of the Watercolor Pencils. Then I went back over and blended all them all with one of our Blender Pens. Then I cut out the smallest label from the bundle. Then I adhered the largest piece on to the card base. I added some adhesive to the the card base where the label opening was and added some of the Copper Trim and a piece of Burlap Ribbon. I cut out 4 of the leaves in Gold Glimmer Paper and adhered them to the back of the label with Mini Glue Dots. I adhered this down with dimensionals. I had a scrap strip of Whisper White that I stamped the leaves image on in stamped off Crushed Curry, then stamped the Thank You in Soft Suede over part of the leaves. To flag the ends I used the Banner Triple Punch. For some reason I always call it the Triple Banner Punch, but you still get the idea. 😉 I added that to the card front with more dimensionals. Next I added some clear rhinestones as you can never have too much bling. Here’s a look at the original:
Isn’t it a gorgeous card? I’m not sure which element I love the best, coloring the leaves or the glimmer leaves that I cut out. Just all kinds of beauty going on there!
