Hey everyone! Happy Wednesday! How is your day going? It’s cool and rainy here…my favorite!! I am going to be doing a Wine and Card Party next week for a client and I thought I’d better pull out the Half Full stamp set and start making some samples. I’m not much of a wine drinker, rum in the house and I’m all over it, but wine, not so much. But that doesn’t mean I can’t create something cute with a wine set!! lol Here’s my first creation with the set.

The card base is in Berry Burst cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″. I cut a piece of Old Olive at 3 3/4″ x 5″ and stamped the wine glass on it to create the patterned paper. I layered it on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and then adhered them both to the card base. I stamped the the tag on a 2″ x 4″ piece of Very Vanilla and then took out the Scalloped Tag Punch and punched the end. Works pretty good. I trimmed the bottom with a pair of paper snips to finish it off. Using a Blender Pen, I colored the leaves with Old Olive and the grapes with the Berry Burst. I added a piece of the Berry Burst Ribbon and tied it off with a piece of Very Vanilla Baker’s Twine. Then I adhered it to the card front dimensionals. I then added some Wink of Stella to the grapes and leaves to give it a frosty effect. Add some pearls and there you go! Pretty cute card if I do say so myself!

Have gotten this set yet? It’s perfect for any friend that’s a wine drinker. There’s Christmas and every day sentiments on it. I may just have to try a glass or two at the party next week! lol If you would like to order any of these products, just head over here to place your order. The Hostess Code for November is 4CK43AW2 and if you use this and place a $35.00 order (before tax and shipping) I’ll send you a packet of handmade cards. If your order is $50.00 or more, I’ll include a free embellishment. Everyone likes to get something other then bills in the mail!

So if you’re tired of the same ol’ paint and wine parties, give me a call and we’ll set up a wine and card party for you. I may even get a taste for a fine wine!! 😉 Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great afternoon!
