Hey everyone! Happy Thursday! Hope your week is going well. Wanted to share a cute birthday card I created this afternoon. Everybody has birthdays and sometimes it’s hard to keep up with them, so I try to create a few each week. Here’s what I came up with this week using the Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper. I really think that’s one of my very favorites in the catalog this year. It is very similar to a Project Life pack from last year’s catalog, Hello Lovely, which I am still using too.
I did some heat embossing with this card using the Versa Mark and Soft Suede ink pads. Did you know that you can actually have the look of any of our colors in heat embossing? All you have to do is first ink your stamp with the Versa Mark, then immediately ink it with any of our ink pads and stamp on cardstock. Then add some clear embossing powder and hit it with the heat gun. Now you don’t have to wish for Elegant Eggplant embossing powder any more! You’ve got it!! Pretty cool way to make your supplies go even further, huh? Here’s a close up look at what it looks like with Soft Suede:
I love the whole Pool Party/Tranquil Tide/Soft Suede combination too. This is another clean and simple card that is easy to mass produce too, which comes in handy when you have a dozen or more cards to send out in a month.
