Hello and welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is going well, after all, it is now fall, so hooray!! If this is your first time stopping by my little world, welcome and please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. So, have you seen what we are casing (copy and share everything) this week over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group this morning? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

I just love that card! Each time a new catalog launches all of the Design Team Members at the CT Facebook Group get to choose a card to case, and this one is the one I chose. 🙂 I just love gingerbread men! In fact, during the Christmas season I decorate my kitchen with gingerbread men. Now, as much as I love his face, I decided to create a fall card to commemorate the first week of fall. I used product from the Online Exclusives suite, the Gathering Moments.

I thought the large leaves in the bundle were perfect for this sketch. And that DSP is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! It has patterns on one side with some gold foiling. I started with an Early Espresso card base and added the embossed layer in Gold Foil using the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder like the sample. I did change those measurements to 4″ x 5 1/4″ so you can see more of the dark brown card base. I then trimmed my three strips from the Gathering Together DSP pack to the measurements and attached them with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive. I then cut the leaf in Old Olive cardstock. The large leaf dies have holes in them so that you can stitch some of the coordinating Early Espresso or Old Olive Linen Thread that coordinates with the suite, or any embroidery thread you may have on hand. I just love the texture it adds! And think about those scrapbook layouts for fall!!! Woo hoo!!! After I completed the stitching, I added the leaf with dimensionals and a bow in the Early Espresso Linen Thread with a Mini Glue Dot. Next, I die cut a label with one of the Mixed Label Dies, stamped my sentiment in Early Espresso and then added it with more dimensionals. And of course I sprinkled on plenty of the Cajun Craze and Gold Dots for bling.

For the inside, I stamped my sentiment in Early Espress on a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White and added 1/2″ strip of the DSP.

And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! I used another strip of the DSP to decorate the flap.

Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s card and share it over in the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up. That’s the fun part of casing, you get to create your card in your style. We would love to have you join us!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. If you would like to add any of the product I used today to your stash, just head over to my online store to shop. I hope you have a great week!
