Good morning. I wanted to take a moment and share a card I created 8 years ago, even before I became a demonstrator. I hadn’t had my blog for very long and my photography wasn’t good at all, so I thought it was time to upgrade the post! My original post was commemorating the 10th anniversary and you can see it here. While you’re there, you can see how far Scraps by Sissy has come! It’s fun to look back at all the projects I created back then.
Looking at this card I can’t even tell you who the manufacturers are for the products I used, but I’m sure they were Die Cuts With A View patterned paper and the cardstock is probably Michael’s brand, Recollections. The ribbon was created by a company called USA Cares and some of the proceeds from purchases were donated to USA Cares, which I assume is a non-profit organization.
Here’s a look at the inside of the card.
I’m not sure which company makes the two stamps I used because I bought so many from online vendors that are no longer in business. It’s hard to believe that it’s been 18 years since that tragic day. Sometimes it feels like it was just yesterday. Regardless, I know I will never forget and I hope you won’t either. Please take a moment to remember those lost and pray we never see this on our shores again.
Have a good afternoon and be sure to come back to see another look at this week’s Product of the Week, Gather Together Bundle. Take care!
