Good morning and Happy Thursday! I hope your week is going well. Today’s project is using the new Under My Umbrella Bundle. Anything that bundles together with a punch is always on my Wish List and this one was no different! Such a cute punch!! And the images on the stamp set are just too stinking cute!!

Here are the measurements for today’s project:

  • Card base in Pool Party cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Calypso Coral cardstock cut at 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″
  • Whisper White cardstock 2 cut at 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″, one for the inside

Don’t you love that umbrella? It’s actually punched from the new Pleased as Punch DSP. I just love all the flowers in that piece, as they match the flowers in the stamp set, which is exactly why I chose that one. I found the Pool Party card base in my stash and then cut a scrap of Whisper White and Calypso Coral to the above sizes. I stamped the sentiment in the lower right in Calypso Coral ink and then the flowers in the upper left in Tuxedo Black ink so I could color them with my Stampin’ Blends. I used the Granny Apple Green combo set on the leaves, the Light Calypso Coral, Light Daffodil Delight and the Light Pool Party on the flowers. Next I punched the umbrella out of the DSP and then stamped the handle in Bermuda Bay ink on a scrap of Bermuda Bay cardstock and attached them together with a Mini Glue Dot. I added dimensionals to the back of the umbrella and added it to the card front. I was just a tad off the pattern when I punched it out, so I hid that with a Pool Party rhinestone from the Holiday Rhinestone pack.I used the Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon, but I didn’t want just a plain white bow, so I inked my flower stamp in Calypso Coral ink and stamped it on the ribbon, repeating this until I had about 6 inches stamped. Then I tied it in a bow and added it to the umbrella with a Mini Glue Dot. I like that the ink faded some so it wasn’t too bold against the umbrella.

For the inside I stamped the galoshes in Tuxedo Black ink and stamped them on the lower left corner. Then I took the smallest flower image and masked it to fit the galoshes and stamped it in Tuxedo Black ink. Then I colored the boots with the Pool Party combo. The flowers are colored with the Granny Apple Green combo and the Light Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight markers. I left it blank until I know exactly who it’s going to.
