Hey everyone. I can’t believe it’s the last day of August! This summer has flown by, but I’m good with that since fall is only about 20 days away. So excited, that’s my favorite season of all, which is why I love this card I created for one of the projects we’ll be making on Saturday.
The panel is using some the new DSP available tomorrow and layered on Delightful Dijon. I just love all the colors in this Designer Series Paper called Petals & Paisleys from the new Holiday Catalog that goes live tomorrow. It’s a specialty series paper that includes some copper foiling. It coordinates with the Paisleys & Posies Stamp Set and Paisley Framelits. I cut out some of the new Copper Foil Paper using the Beautiful Branches Thinlets from the Thoughtful Branches bundle since I don’t have the Paisleys Framelits yet. The Thoughtful Branches bundle is only available for a limited time and was originally scheduled to end today, but we have been told that there is still some inventory available. It will not be in any future catalogs, so now is the time to order it before it’s gone.
The sentiment stamp that I used is from the new Suite Seasons set. I stamped it with Versamark and heat embossed with Copper Embossing Powder. The powder melts beautifully. I used the Lots of Labels Framelits on some Very Vanilla and Mint Macaron for this sentiment and then added some of the new 3/8″ Mint Macaron ribbon, which is part of the new Trio Pack of ribbon. I added some Pearl Basic Jewels and voila!
