This week is our Card Club and we are creating Halloween cards with the Spooky Halloween and Fright Night bundles, so I thought it would be fun to create with it for this week’s CT as well. Both bundles are part of the July Online Exclusives launch on the Stampin’ Up! website. As you can see, I did change it a little bit for my take. I started with a Basic Black card base that is cut at 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″. I didn’t like the look of the 4×5 layer, so I changed it to 4″ x 5 1/4″ from a piece of the Spooky Sweet DSP. I then trimmed another layer to create the four panels. All of those layers are attached with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive. This pack of DSP has some die cuts in them, so I chose this little fairy princess bear and added her with dimensionals. I stamped my sentiment in Memento ink on a 1/2″ strip of Basic White and trimmed it to 3 1/2″ to match the width of the four panels and attached it with dimensionals. This suite of product has these adorable glitter foam star embellishments, so I added one to her crown and the other two at the bottom of the card.
For the inside, I stamped the sentiment, which is perfect for our little fairy princess, and broom in Mementon on a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White. I added a 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ strip of that adorable DSP to the bottom and since the stars are flat, I thought they would look cute on the inside as well.
And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! I stamped the sentiment and those cute bats on the envelope flap.
