Hey everyone! Happy Wednesday! Can you believe that Christmas is less then 30 days away?!? Yikes! The thought just gives me palpitations!! lol But that is for another day….today I am going to share with you another look at the So Santa stamp set. Such a fun little set!! Here are the measurements for today’s card:

  • Card base in Poppy Parade cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Santa’s Workshop DSP cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Call Me Clover cardstock cut at 4 1/4″ x 3 1/4″
  • Whisper White cardstock cut at 4″ x 3″

I am so sad that the Santa’s Workshop DSP is completely sold out! It has to be some of the cutest Christmas paper we have had in a long time. Fortunately I have some on hand that I can use for projects. This card is actually created using scraps leftover from other projects which is always a win in my book!! This striped piece of DSP actually has some of that fuzziness in the white which gives it great texture. I added a piece of the Poppy Parade ribbon and then adhered it to the card base. I like to cut a length just long enough to tape down in the back and then use another smaller piece to create the faux bow. This can save you a ton of ribbon by doing it this way! Next I stamped the image and colored him with my Stampin’ Blends Markers. These alcohol markers are wonderful and because they are named the same as our ink, it makes it much easier to coordinate with projects without having to memorize any numbers. Once it was colored, I stamped the sentiment in Call Me Clover ink. The actual sentiment says “HO HO HO Who Needs Snow?!”, but since I only wanted the Ho Ho Ho portion, I masked the rest of the sentiment with tape, inked it, removed the tape and stamped my sentiment. Next I cut it out using the largest stitched oval and then a scalloped oval in Call Me Clover. I adhered them together, added some dimensionals and then adhered it to the card front. Sprinkle on a few rhinestones and you’re done with the front!

For the inside, I stamped the sentiment on the Whisper White then added a little strip of the DSP and then adhered them both to the Call Me Clover layer. I love to bring the outside of the card to the inside, it just gives it a more finished look.
