Hey everyone! Happy Saturday! I wanted to share a card I created that is a take on a sample from an Online Convention that I am participating in. I take monthly training from Ronda Wade and each new catalog launch she does an online convention that emulates Stampin’ Up!’s Onstage. This one #CConline2017 has been one of the best, they just get better with each one! There’s training and stamping just like when we go to those events, except we can “attend” in our jammies!! This is one of her samples, but of course I added my spin to it.
This card features the new foil snowflake doilies and that gorgeous designer series paper, Year of Cheer. If you love foil embossed cardstock, then this pack should be on your wishlist! Her original sample actually used the Fresh Fig colored card base, but I changed it to Island Indigo. Here are the dimensions for this card:
- Card base in Island Indigo 5 1/2 x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Whisper White 5 x 3 3/4″
- DSP 5 x 2″
This is a clean and simple card, which as you know, I love!! Quick and easy is the best when you need to mass produce cards. Just adhere the dsp to the Whisper White panel, then attach both to the card base. On a scrap piece of Whisper White, stamp the sentiment and punch it out with the 2 1/4″ circle punch. Adhere that to a gold foil snowflake, then add some dimensionals and add to the card. Tie a bow with some white twine and add it under the sentiment with a mini glue dot, then add one of the enamel shapes in Island Indigo. And voila, you are done! Isn’t that easy?
