Hey everyone! Welcome to your final sneak peek for this week’s workshop. Here’s my take on so many white on white samples that I have seen for this set. It makes for a stunning Christmas card in my opinion. I wanted to give it a pop of color with the red bird and tie in the color with the sentiment. The snow effect is from the Softly Falling Embossing folder, which is fast becoming one of my favorites.
When I created the panel for the tree I didn’t like the way the white, on white, on white looked, so I cut a piece of Smoky Slate to give it some separation. I used Smoky Slate ink for the snow drifts. I wanted to be very light in color, so I stamped off once. I popped up the tree using the new Foam Adhesive Strips, which worked perfectly for this. I also used dimensionals on the back of the Smoky Slate panel an for a little bling I added one of the Metal Rimmed Pearls and called it a day. This is a simple card that could be duplicated easily for your Christmas Cards this year.
I hope you liked this week’s sneak peeks. Friday night should be a fun girls night with the ladies, and I’m sure they’re gonna have fun making these cards.
