Hey everyone! Welcome to sneak peek #2. Everyone needs birthday cards and this one is perfect for a guy or a gal. Doesn’t that DSP just scream birthday? Maybe because the name of that paper pack is Festive Birthday! lol I just love the happy colors, and the best part? That is one of the paper packs on special this month. The special is Buy 3 Get One Free of select paper packs and it runs until October 31st.b3g1dsp_demol1_nauksp

The card base is created in Tempting Turquoise and the DSP is matted on a piece of Emerald Envy. The balloons are Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry and I used the Stampin’ Chalk Marker to make the shine mark. The sentiment is from the Better Together stamp set. I stamped it with the Whisper White Craft ink and then used some white embossing powder and heat set it. That serves two purposes, not only sets the craft ink faster, but the embossing powder on the dark background really pops. And of course I added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels, never enough bling!!

I see a lot of birthday cards in the future being created with more of the Festive Birthday paper pack. I didn’t realize how bright and cheery it was just by seeing it in the catalog, but when you open that pack the color just jumps out at you! You have to try some of it! Just head over to my online store here and purchase yours. When you use Hostess Code E3HDGQDU you’ll get a pack of handmade cards, and when you spend $50.00 or more, I’ll include some Rhinestone Basic Jewels…you gotta have the bling!!

Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to stop by again tomorrow to see the final sneak peek of our October Workshop.
