Ok, next I have a sneak peek for Saturday’s Birthday Card Class. This is the first project we’re going to make. I love the new Wood Words stamp set and that designer series paper is just to die for!! This card was actually a case of another one that I cased from Ronda Wade. She has some of the cutest card samples!!
To make this card I started with a card base from Thick Whisper White cut at 8 1/2 x 5 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″. I layered on a 5 3/8 x 4 1/8″ piece of Real Red and then a 5 1/4 by 4″ piece of regular Whisper White. I stamped the flowers in Basic Black Archival and used a Blender Pen with some Real Red ink to color a couple of the flowers. I cut out a piece of the designer series paper using the Stitched Circle Framelits and adhered it to the card. I took a strip of Whisper White and stamped the Happy Birthday from the Five For All stamp set, snipped the flag end with my Paper Snips and glued it to a 1/4″ strip of Gold Glimmer Paper and then added it to the card using dimensionals. I stamped the heart from the stamp set and punched it out with the 1″ Circle Punch and added it to the card with another dimensional. Then I added a bow made with some Linen Thread. I wanted a little more bling so I took the Gingerbread Man Punch and punched out some Gold Glimmer Paper and adhered them with the Fine Tip Glue. I LOVE how it turned out!!
Like what you see but can’t make it to my class? No problem! When you place a $35.00 or more, I’ll send you the project packets for free! Just go here to place you order and use Hostess Code 93HEHUC2. What’s better than shopping in your jammies? Crafting in your jammies when you get your packet of course! Be sure to stop back tomorrow for another sneak peek for Saturday’s class.
