Smile!

Hey everyone! Happy Friday! I hope you all had a wonderful 4th with lots of family and friends. If this is your first time here, welcome! Please be sure to join my email list while you’re here to get your free tutorial. So I wanted to share this adorable card I created. It’s using those adorable daisy punches. Here are the measurements:

Card base in Thick Whisper White cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
Blueberry Bushel cardstock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″ embossed with the Swirls & Curls Embossing Folder
Whisper White cardstock cut at 3/4″ x about 2″

This is another one of my “made from scraps” cards. Don’t you love it when you get to use up all those scraps? I knew I wanted to go with a red, white and blue theme since it is the holiday weekend. I stamped 2 each of the larger daisy stamped in Blueberry Bushel, Real Red and Pineapple Punch and 2 each stamped in the same inks with the medium daisy and then punched them out. I glued them all together with Mini Glue Dots and and then added a clear droplet in the center of each. Next I embossed the Blueberry Bushel layer and tied a piece of the Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle ribbon and then glued it to the card front. I then stamped my sentiment on the strip. I added the daisies with dimensionals and then added the strip glued right to the card base. Isn’t it cute? Those daisies just scream summer, don’t you think? And even before you read the sentiment, it makes you smile!
