Hey everyone! Happy Thursday! Can you believe I finally created some alternate Paper Pumpkin projects? It’s been awhile, I know! Were you able to catch my Facebook Live? If not, you can watch the replay on my YouTube Channel here. While you are there, please be sure to give my video (which is FULL of shenanigans!) a thumbs up!

Have you played with this month’s kit yet? It is such a pretty kit, but then I may be biased since I love fall so much. It’s the die cuts that really make this kit! Let’s look at alternate number 1.

Here are the measurements for my card:

  • Card base in Lost Lagoon cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Early Espresso cardstock cut at 3 3/4″ x 5″
  • Treat bag from kit cut at 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ and 3/4″ x 5″
  • Basic White cardstock cut at 3 3/4″ x 5″

I started by cutting the bagk and trimming my top layer and then attaching it to the Early Espresso layer. I stamped the sentiment from the kit in Early Espresso ink. I added some Stampin’ Seal on the back of the layers and then wrapped some Linen Thread around the layers, tucking the edges into the adhesive. I attached it to the card front and added the die cuts from the kit with dimensionals. I tied a large bow in the thread, attached it to the die cuts with a Mini Glue Dot. And for my bling, I added some of the Festive Pearls in green.

For the inside, I added my strip from the bag, stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink and attached it to the inside of the card.

And I decorated the envelope with the stamp from the kit in Lost Lagoon ink.

Now for alternate number two.

Here are the measurements:

  • Card base in Pretty Peacock cardstock cut at 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″, trim off 2 3/4″ off the front.
  • Card base from kit cut at 2 1/2″ x 4″ and 1″ x 4″
  • Basic White cardstock cut at 2 1/2″ x 4″ and 4″ x 5 1/4″

When I came into the studio this morning, I only had the first card created. I came up with the second one in about 10 minutes. This is one of my favorite fun folds and is so easy to create! After I trimmed off the front piece of the card base to create the flap, I trimmed one of the card bases from the kit and attached the layer to the flap. Next I took the smaller white layer and stamped the leaves from the kit in Lost Lagoon, stamped off, on the edge, attached the strip from the kit card base and then both to the card front. I wrapped the Linen Thread around the flap and attached it to the card front. Next I added the die cut from the kit with dimensionals. I punched a scrap of Basic White with the Heartfelt Hexagon punch and stamped the pumpkin in Gray Granite, stamping off, and then the stem in Lost Lagoon, stamping off. I stamped the sentiment in Pretty Peacock and attached it to the front with dimensionals. I added a bow in the thread and some more of the Festive Pearls for bling.

For the inside, I stamped the leaves and the pumpkin, stamping off and then the sentiment, all following the colors from the front of the card.

And of course, that pumpkin had to be stamped on the front of the envelope.

Didn’t I tell you that kit is pretty? I haven’t created my scrapbook layout yet. I am waiting for pictures from our retreat this past weekend for it. Once I’ve created it, I will share it here. Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you have a great rest of your week!
