Hey everyone! Happy Saturday! I know, it’s unusual for me to post on a Saturday, but since Monday is New Year’s Day, I thought I’d post today. I saw this card on a site that I belong to and I knew it was perfect for this time of year. Here are the measurements:
- Card base in Thick Whisper White, cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Pool Party layer cut at 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Early Espresso layer cut at 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4″
- Crumb Cake layer cut at 3″ x 3″
To create this card, I ran the Pool Party layer through the Big Shot with the Cable Knit Embossing Folder, then adhered it to the card base. It fits with all the cold weather around the country. Then using the Coffee Cup Framelits and the hearts from the Mini Treat Bag Framelits, I cut out the pieces for the coffee cup. Then I assembled them using the Multipurpose Glue. I adhered the Crumb Cake square to the Early Espresso square, added a piece of the 3/8″ Classic Weave Whisper White Ribbon around it and tied it in a knot; added a strip of adhesive on the back and added a quarter piece of doily. I then added it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals, added dimensionals to the coffee cup and adhered that down over the ribbon. Then I stamped the sentiment on a scrap piece of Whisper White, punched it out with the 1 1/2″ Circle Punch and added it to a piece of Pool Party that had been punched with the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch. Added some dimensionals to it so it adhered evenly over the corner of the square and then added some rhinestones. So stinking cute!
