Hello and Happy CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time stopping by my little neck of the woods, welcome and please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy info around here. Have you seen what we are casing (copy and share everything) this week over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a great card? Well, as you can see, I went a little rogue with my take.

Now as many of you know, I am just getting back into things since my husband has been recovering from a long awaited surgery. And my Paper Pumpkin kits have started to pile up. Since this week is the 4th of July, I thought I’d combine the last two kits with the Sending Salutations stamp set to make a fun card. I started by trimming the card base from the May Paper Pumpkin kit to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ to fit my Melon Mambo card base. I stamped the bike from the June Paper Pumpkin kit in Basic Black Hybrid ink using the new Stampin’ Positioner tool so that I could get a really black image emulating a silhouette. I then trimmed a scrap of Basic Black to glue to the bottom to look like the ground. I attached it with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive, and then added the layers to the card front with more Seal. I added the fireworks with dimensionals and colored them with Wink of Stella. For even more bling, I added the sparkling gems from the kit. I did follow the measurements for my sentiment strip, but after flagging the end, it is only 1 3/4″ wide. I stamped the sentiment from the Sending Salutations set in Melon Mambo ink and added it to the card with Seal. I love how sparkly is it!

For the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the May Paper Pumpkin kit in Melon Mambo on a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White. I added a 1/2″ strip of the trimmed kit card base.

And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! I stamped the bicycle again in Basic Black. I love how it ties it to the card.

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up. That’s the fun part of casing, you get to create it your way with your style.

Thank you again for stopping by. I hope I was able to inspire you this week and especially get those kits out and create them! The next Paper Pumpkin kit releases on July 11th. It’s all about fun folds and birthdays; a kit you won’t want to miss. You have until July 10th to subscribe. Just head over here to check it out.

Have a great rest of your week and a very happy and safe 4th of July!
