Hey everyone! Happy Monday!! I hope you had a great weekend. This week is actually a short one for me as we are heading out on a short vacation on Wednesday. It’s going to be pretty quiet around here. I will be checking in on Facebook every once in awhile, but other then that I’m shutting down in the online world for a few days. But not today or tomorrow!! Today I wanted to share a get well card with you. I don’t know about you, but I’ve had to make several of these and sympathy cards lately. Here are the measurements for my card:
- Card base in Thick Whisper White cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Highland Heather cardstock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Mossy Meadow cardstock cut at 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″
- Petal Promenade DSP cut at 5 1/2″ x 5 1/4″
This was a quick and easy card, which you know is my favorite! The Petal Promenade DSP is one of the packs that you can get for FREE when you buy 3 packs from the selection. This is such a great deal for all of us paper hoarders, er, collectors!! The strip you see on this card is actually a border piece. So pretty!! I think it would be so pretty as a layout for a bridal shower! I decided to create my card around this strip and thought the Mossy Meadow was the perfect color to layer it with. The hints of lavender had me grabbing a piece of Highland Heather out of my scraps. I stamped the sentiment from the Healing Hugs stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink (have I told how happy I am this color is back?). Then I cut it out with a stitched oval. I added it to the card front with dimensionals, then added a couple of the Gorgeous Grape Glitter Enamel Dots. Easy-peasy! I brought the DSP into the inside of the card too.
Isn’t that gorgeous? That DSP just makes you want to sigh it’s so pretty! And the coordination of all Stampin’ Up! products just make it so easy to create something beautiful!! If you would like to get some of this beautiful paper, just head over to my online store. When you shop using Hostess Code SVRRWVGY, I’ll send you a pack of handmade cards. If your order is $40.00 or more, I’ll include a pack of envelopes for all the beautiful cards you’ll be creating!
Thank you for stopping by and don’t forget to come back tomorrow for another CASE-ing Tuesday.
