Isn’t that a cute card? I changed my take just a little bit this week using some scraps and leftover die cuts from the Fright Night Dies, Spooky Halloween Dies and a piece from the Time for Celebration Mix & Match Ephemera Pack.
I started with a Basic Black card base and added a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ piece of the Spooky Sweet DSP. I trimmed scraps of Basic Black and Basic White to the measurements. I attached the die cut sentiment at the top of the white layer with Multipurpose Glue. Before I added the haunted house, I sponged on some Daffodil Delight to make the openings in the house have a glowing effect and then stamped the bats in Tuxedo Black ink. I then added attached the house with more Multipurpose Glue over the yellow. I then attached the layer to the black with Stampin’ Seal and then attached them to the card front with dimensionals. I realized later that I forgot the two strips from the sketch, but I don’t think they’re needed with my take. For my bling I added some of the Shimmer Star Foam Stickers.
For the inside layer, I stamped the sentiment from the Spooky Halloween stamp set on a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White. I added the witches cauldron from the DSP pack and a leftover bat with more liquid glue and then attached the layer with Seal to the inside.
And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! I attached a piece of the DSP to the flap, added the witches hat from the ephemera pack, stamped the sentiment from the Spooky Halloween stamp set and then added another leftover bat.
