Hey everyone! Happy Friday! I hope you have been having a good week. I would have been here yesterday, but I had to take Chloe to the vet. She’s had a cough for awhile, but I was getting concerned so they squeezed me in yesterday morning. All is good so I’m back today! Were you able to watch my Facebook Live? If not, you can catch the replay on my YouTube Channel here. When you get to the part where I’m making the box, just fast forward that part. I’ve created a second video for just the box and you can find it here. While you are there, I would love it if you would give my video a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel if you haven’t already done so.
Today we played with the Kraft Note Cards and Envelopes, along with the Ringed with Nature Bundle and the Ringed with Love DSP. Those note cards are something that everyone seems to overlook. This year the kraft ones are new. They are a great value with 20 cards and 20 envelopes and a box that you can store all the cards in when you have completed them. They make the perfect crafty gift for someone with completed cards all ready for them to sign and mail out. You could add a book of stamps in the box along with a cute little pen. What a cute gift that would make! Here’s a look at the box. All of these cards have the 2021/2023 In Color Opal Rounds as the bling and there are no sentiments stamped in it either so that there’s plenty of room to write whatever you’d like.
Here are the measurements for the box belly band and all of the cards:
- Kraft Note Cards – 3 ½” x 5”
- Kraft Box – R/L DSP 2” x 12”
- Card 1 – Soft Sea Foam c/s 3 ¼” x 4 ¾”, R/L DSP 3” x 3 ¾”
- Card 2 – Night of Navy die cut, R/L DSP 2 ½” x 3 ¾” and 1/2″ x 3″ for the inside BW ½”
- Card 3 – R/L DSP 3 ¼” x 4 ¾”
- Card 4 – R/L DSP 3 ¼” x 4 ¾”, ½” x 4 ½” for inside
- Card 5 – Evening Evergreen c/s 3 ¼” x 4 ¾”, R/L 3” x 4 ½”, Vellum 2 ¼” x 3 ½”, BW 1 ¾” x 3 1/8”
- All inside layers – 3” x 4 ½”
All of the cards are pretty simple. Here’s a look at card one:
I just added the DSP to the Night of Navy scalloped rectangle and attached it to the card front. The leaves are die cut in Mint Macaron and the berries and leaves are die cut in Crumb Cake. I had a 1/2″ strip of Basic White scrap that I stamped the sentiment in Soft Suede ink. Flagged the ends, added some Stampin’ Seal to the back to stick the little die cuts to and added everything with Mini Dimensionals. After it was added, I added a bow in Linen Thread with a Mini Glue Dot. For the inside, I stamped the heart from the stamp set in Petal Pink. I also stamped a heart on the envelope flap, but didn’t include any of the envelope pictures in my blog post. You can see them in the video.
Here’s card number two:
This card is actually a miniature version of a card we created at last month’s stamp club. I attached the DSP to the Soft Sea Foam layer and then stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy ink. I added a piece of the Soft Sea Foam Seam Binding Ribbon and then attached it all to the card front. The envelope has a strip of DSP added to it.
Here’s card number three:
This is the only card using Very Vanilla. The die cut label is from the Potted Succulents Dies. The wood slice and two acorn bottoms are die cut in Crumb Cake cardstock and the tops are in Soft Suede. I sponged on some Soft Suede ink on the round and added it with dimensionals. The sentiment is stamped in Poppy Parade ink and the bow is in Linen Thread added with a Mini Glue Dot. I also added another strip of DSP to this envelope as well.
Here’s card number four:
The label on this card was die cut with a die from the Pillow Box Die Set. It’s such a sweet little label and just perfect for this note cards. I added a piece of the Natural Woven Ribbon on the back with adhesive and then added to the card with dimensionals. The inside and the envelope are stamped with those cute mushrooms in Soft Suede and Poppy Parade inks.
Here’s card number 5:
I layered the Christmas print on a piece of Evening Evergreen cardstock and then added a piece of the woven ribbon before adhering to the card front. I die cut the vellum and the Basic White with the Deckled Rectangles dies. The sentiment is one long stamp, so I inked each side individually and stamped so it would fit on the label. I then attached the white label to the vellum with Stampin’ Seal and then added them both with dimensionals. The poinsettia is stamped in Poppy Parade ink and then I fussy cut it to add it as an embellishment. I had some leftover leaves die cut in Evening Evergreen cardstock and added them to the back of the flower. That same image is stamped on the envelope and the inside layer.
Isn’t that a fun gift project? And with 20 cards and envelopes, you could make up half to give and keep half to send out. I think anyone who receives this gift will love it! At the time I created the project and filmed my video, this DSP was still available, but since all of the Sale-a-bration items are on a while supplies last status, I would not wait to get a pack. You can get it for FREE just by placing a $50.00 order! Who doesn’t love FREE? And since I am working my way toward earning my way to the Incentive Trip, something that less than 1% of demonstrators actually do, I want to give you even more FREE when you shop with me. I need to earn 40,000 points and when I checked this morning, I am at 28,493. With your help, I know I can get there! So, when you place a $50.00 order to get this beautiful DSP using Host Code 6AWRFNP6, I will send you a package of those beautiful opal rounds. If your order is $75.00 or more, I’ll include a package of those Kraft Note Cards/Envelopes; but you must use the host code.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a fabulous Friday!
