If this is your first time stopping by my neck of the woods, welcome and please join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. Have you seen what we are casing (copy and share everything) over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group? If not, here’s a look at the sample and sketch:

Isn’t that a pretty card? I changed mine up a little this week by making it a landscape style card.

I have been waiting to use the Relaxing Waterside product since I saw it at OnStage back in March. I started with a Peaceful Pine card base and trimmed one of the multi-image sheets from the Waterside Retreat DSP pack to the measurements on the sketch. I stamped the sentiment from the set in Peaceful Pine ink. I then added Wink of Stella to all of the water. I punched my circle with a retired 2 1/2″ circle so I didn’t lose too much of the scenery. I stamped one of the little boats from the Sunset Coast stamp set in Night of Navy ink and added it to the card with dimensionals. I thought it needed something more, so I brought out my April Paper Pumpkin kit and stamped the seagulls from that stamp set in Peaceful Pine ink. I then added some of the rock embellishments from the kit for my bling.

For the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Relaxing Waterside stamp set in Peaceful Pine ink and the grass, also from this set, in second generation (stamped off once) Peaceful Pine ink. This Basic White layer measures 5″ x 3 3/4″ and is attached with Seal.

I stamped the larger image in Peaceful Pine ink on the front of the envelope.

I love how this turned out! That paper is so fun and is going to be perfect to scrap photos from our upcoming vacation to the Oregon Coast. Now it’s your turn, create your take on this week’s sample or sketch and share it with us at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up. The best part of casing is you get to create your card your way with your style.
I hope I was able to inspire you. If you’d like any of the product that I used today, please head over to my online store here to shop. Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope your week is amazing!
