Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday – and what a lucky one it is! Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I hope your week is going well. Isn’t that a pretty card? Since it’s St. Patty’s Day, I knew I had to create something lucky!
I someone use the cauldron from the retired Spells and Potions dies awhile back, so I wanted to give it a shot. Fortunately I had one already cut, which made creating it even faster. I grabbed a scrap of gold foil and punched out some circles using a retired 3/4″ circle punch. I added them to the cauldron with Stampin’ Seal and set it aside. I decided to go with a Garden Green card base and a 5/8″ strip of gold foil and the Gold Striped 3/8″ Ribbon worked perfectly for the other strip. As you can see, I struggled getting the ribbon on straight, but went with it anyway. I added the ribbon over the gold foil and then attached it all Stampin’ Seal. I pulled out the Time for Celebration Ephemera pack and found the clover and added it to the cauldron. I love that they are stickers, a little thicker than cardstock, but not as thick as chipboard. I then attached it all to the card with dimensionals. I then pulled out the Reason to Celebrate stamp set and stamped my sentiment on a strip of Basic White and snipped them to create wordy bits and then added them with dimensionals. For even more bling, I added some of the Sparkle Dot Essentials in Garden Green. I love that they sparkle in gold!
For the inside, I stamped a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White in Garden Green ink, added another ephemera sticker and dot and attached it all to the inside. I love to add flat dots on the inside to give it even more bling.
And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! There was one more sticker so I added it to the envelope. And it’s perfect!
